Everything an invoice needs. Your business details and logo, the customer's billing (and optional shipping) address, invoice number, date, payment terms and due date, a PO number, line items with quantities and rates, a discount on a single line or on the whole invoice, tax, shipping, and a running balance if part of it has already been paid. Add notes and payment instructions at the bottom.
Mark it paid. Once the customer has paid, switch the status to Paid: a big green PAID stamp with the payment date goes beside the totals, the balance due reads zero, and the download is named with a "-paid" suffix so it can't be mixed up with the copy you sent first. Until then, record a partial payment to show the balance still due.
Numbered for you. When one invoice is done, New invoice keeps your business details, logo, currency and tax setup, clears the customer and line items, and moves the number on — INV-1001 becomes INV-1002.
Any length, any currency. Long invoices flow onto extra pages with the table header repeated and "Page 1 of 3" at the bottom. Pick Letter or A4, and any of 22 currencies — amounts are rounded the way that currency is counted (no cents in yen).
Download or print. Download PDF gives you a compact, text-searchable file. Its built-in fonts cover Latin alphabets; for names in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic and other scripts, use Print and choose "Save as PDF" — the page warns you when that applies.
Is the invoice generator really free? Yes — no sign-up, no watermark, no limit on how many invoices you make.
What should an invoice include? Your name or business name and contact details, the customer's, a unique invoice number, the invoice date and due date, a description of each product or service with quantity and price, any tax, and the total due with how to pay it. This tool has a place for each.
Can I add my logo? Yes — PNG or JPG. It is shrunk to a small copy for the PDF and remembered with your draft.
Where is my data stored? Only in your browser's local storage, on your device. Switching browsers or devices starts fresh, and Start over erases it.
How do I send a paid invoice? In the Payment section set the status to Paid, check the date, and download or print — the copy carries the PAID stamp and a zero balance.
Can I make receipts or quotes? Receipts, yes — the Receipt Generator works the same way, with the payment method and date in place of terms. Quote, estimate and purchase order generators are next on the list.
